Today, we would like to say something about our school. Our school started on 7th Aug 1956. With just 22 Students. Today it has become a great tree with 2000 students. Ours is a school with the staff of 65, 41 Class rooms, modern facilitie, rich library, separate Computer building. It has its distinct identity not only at the taluka and district level but also at the state level.

Many of the students from this school have become teachers, doctors, engineers and lawyers. They are spreading the fame of our institution over everywhere and wherever they work. Students of this institution are providing their services not only in India but also abroad. Above 60 % result of the S.S.C. and 90% result of the H.S.C. every year is the class of our quality.

A teacher’s selection from this institution for C.C.R.T. ( Center for Cultural Resource and Training ) training at New Delhi, a teacher’s selection from this school as a Reviewer of the text book of English by Gujarat State Text Book board this and many other matters are the mile stones of our achievements. Many teachers have won the honour to the school by providing their services as Resource Person at the District Level.

In the area of co-curricular activities, Our school has a distinct place. Our institution always lays stress on co-curricular activities. Our institution has played a decisive role by organizing Polio Correction Operation Camp with the help of Foreign Doctors. We have given way to the govts mission of Polio Correction. We have also taken out ” Granth Yatra” to meet the need of the people who were interested in reading books and magazines. The teachers and the Vikas Mandal also joined this Granth Yatra whcih was taken out in a village of about just 2000 population. A Book Fair was also organized audit was our best try to inspire the people to read books and to buy books. ” A Blood Group identification camp for the student, a blood donation camp and a disease dignostic camp are the routine activities of the school.

Our school has remained at the top by inviting teachers of the taluka for ” Sahitya Goshthi ” on holidays. Thereby we have tried to give force to literary activities. Our school has the honour to organize district level science fair, “Karma Yogi Talim Shibir” for nine days, “Matru Sammelan” in every term, Vali Sammelan and parent’s contact of the students of Std – 10 and 12. THe school plans ” get to gather ” programmes in which the school family with their families and the governing body with their families meet.

By doing so the shcool tries to establish the human relationship. Yoga Shibir, Aids awareness speech, and discussion on youth problems are planned. Moreover, routine occassions are celebrated in prayer assembly.

Fascinated by the schools progress and fame, many great personalities of literature and public affairs have visited our school. The well-known economist Dr. A.K.Alagh, State Health minister Hon. Ashokbhai Bhatt, Finance Minister of the center, Shri Shantilal Patel, Guj.Govt. Minister Shri. Bhupendrabhai Lakhavala, Education Commisioner Smt. Jayanti Ravi, District Collector Shri. Dineshbhai Brahmbhatt, Well Known Saint Shri Gajanand Puri Maharaj, The then Vice – Chancellor of M.S.University and Coordinator of Kalpsar Yojna Dr. Anil Kane, the Poet Dr. Rishabh Mehta, the educationalist Dr. Arun Pathak, the critic and a poet Dr. Pravinbhai Darji and the author Dr. Kishorbhai Vyas have visited our school.

The school has remained at the top in sports. This school has represented at the state level for the game of volleyball. The P.E.teacher of the school has the honour to be honoured by a well known hockey player Dhanraj Pillai.

The girl student of this school has the honour to be selected at the national level for the game of volleyball. She got training at Karnataka and this was the first occassion at the district level when any school has achieved success of this kind.

The school also takes part in other examinations like Rang Purni Spardha – Organised by Guj. State Kala Sangh. Drawing competition organized by Gujarat State Exam Board, Sanskrit Gyan Pariksha organized by Gayatri Parivar, Talent search Test, Eng efficiency exam organized by Sadashiv Foundation, Scholarship exam for secondary, Maths – Science exam organized by Rajkot center. The Students always perform well in all the above exams. Moreover, the shcool also takes interest in society related activities like Career guidance, Eco club, N.S.S., Consumer Protection club, Bal Urja Vikas Dal – organized by Prakruti foundation , Vadodara.

The Students of the school are inspired by celebration of different occassions. THe school holds competitions like ” Garba Spardha ” , ” Kesh Gunfan Competition, Rangoli Competition. The prayer with a sweet music, Great thoughts and maxims written on the blackboard and a large play ground enriches the proud of the school.
